How We Work

What is it like to work with Stephanie Huntley & The Personal Touch Wedding &; Events? What can we expect? How does this whole process work?

Wedding planning and event design is a collaboration. We talk about:

who you are and what you want from your experience
what you want the event to look like and to feel like
stimulating your senses as we begin to explore colors, textures, sounds and smells that you want featured.

As we continue to talk; all of the pieces begin to come together to create an experience that can only be described as a day created just for you.

The visuals we create is the most important thing. Today's society is a visual one. With that being said; what your space looks like matters. The things your guests will see and hear, touch and taste matter! This is where we will start, and where we will spend the bulk of our time. While we will seek inspiration from wedding blogs, magazines, Pinterest, and Instagram, your wedding must be your own!

The Personal Touch Wedding & Events has partners will bring together the linens, chairs, and florals. We have lighting partners that help set the mood. When you and the love of your life walk into your room; you will walk into a the place that you and I have created just for you!

Now in order for your guests to remember this event as one of the greatest nights of their lives; we need to plan the day from their perspective. After the design is done, we walk through the day as if we were your guest. Every interaction is important; so we ask the following questions:

What are we saying to your guests with your save the dates and invitations?
How user friendly is your wedding website?
Have we created unforgettable experiences?
Have we made sure to show them they are valued, appreciated and loved?
How will they greeted, and what will they be served?
Are they going to be amazed by the food and thoroughly enjoy the entertainment?
How do we move them from experience to experience throughout the evening?

Moment by moment. Sight to sound, sound to smell, smell to touch, touch to taste and in the midst of it all, is you -surrounded by the people and things you love.

What Do I Do

Whatever is necessary to make sure that when you will look back on your day years from now; you will smile.

Communication

Everything is unlimited; phone calls, emails, text messages, and in person meetings. Some of you are very tech-social and like to share via Instagram Direct Messages. Others of you prefer in person meetings over coffee and a pastry. Whatever works for you is what we will do. We will have phone calls. We will have meetings. We will talk, text, share pictures and hopefully play. Planning is supposed to be fun. Let's have a good time!

Please remember that we must also respect the work we are doing together. Communication is constant and comprehensive. Any inquiries and questions will be responded to within 24 hours. Proposals and contracts will be reviewed and sent to you clean with utter transparency. I am here for you always.
